About

The College of Veterinary Medicine’s Office of Research and Graduate Studies is an informational and procedural hub for faculty, clinical residents and graduate students engaged in biomedical research. We offer guidance and support in a variety of ways, all with the goal of helping the college achieve “Transformation through Innovation,” the theme of our collegewide strategic plan.

Our faculty are experts in their fields, publish widely, and mentor future clinician-scientists. In addition, college faculty engaged in research are frequently called upon by members of the media to serve as informed sources on topics that span their areas of expertise.

Who we are

Our office provides guidance and support for faculty seeking to strengthen their research programs through funding opportunities and/or collaborations and can assist with the process of grant application and management. We also can provide input on policies and procedures of the UFCVM and the University of Florida as a whole and offer specific information about key policies on this site.
