Meet the Team

The core Clinical Trials Team oversees and supports clinical studies throughout the College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rowan Milner, a board certified oncologist, heads the team as Director of Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Allison O’Kell, a board certified small animal internist, supports the team and clinicians performing research in the college as a clinical research veterinarian. Lana Fagman, the clinical research coordinator, manages and coordinates all aspects of clinical research studies throughout the college. Kaylee Young is our support technician and Ashley Intihar is clinical trials assistant specific to our Oncology studies. Melissa Pisaroglo de Carvalho is our service technician for all other therapeutic study areas.
