Other Scholarship Programs

We offer programs to provide research training opportunities for DVM-program students as well as undergraduate students seeking to broaden their working knowledge of biomedical research.

university scholars program

This program, aimed at undergraduate students at UF with research interests, provides faculty mentorship.

By teaming students with faculty investigators, we are able to provide valuable experience for those interested in exploring careers in biomedical research.

Linda F. Hayward Florida Veterinary Scholars Program

Through this program, UF veterinary students work with faculty members on a specific project.

This program is a great way for students in our professional DVM program to gain hands-on experience while pursuing areas of research interest.

As part of both the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and the Academic Health Center, Veterinary Medicine is dedicated to advancing animal, human and environmental health through teaching, research, extension and patient care.
